Day 1: The Journey, Wildlife & Capital Highlights

Your adventure begins on Saturday morning with convenient city and suburban pick-ups before hitting the road. Stretch your legs with a fun lunch stop at the iconic Big Merino in Goulburn. From there, we journey to The Vintner’s Daughter winery, where the kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy hand-feeding friendly farm animals, while adults indulge in local wine tasting.

As we roll into Canberra, take a scenic drive past the impressive diplomatic embassies, snap a memorable family group photo outside the New Australian Parliament House, and capture breathtaking panoramic views from the Mount Ainslie Lookout. Wrap up an exciting day with a hearty buffet dinner at the Star Buffet before a cozy group check-in at the comfortable Abode Hotel.

Day 2: Snowy Adventures at Perisher

We kick off Sunday early to maximize your time on the snow! After departing the hotel, we’ll head straight toward the Snowy Mountains, stopping in Cooma for optional ski gear hire. National Park entry fees are 100% included, ensuring smooth, skip-the-line access.

By 9:00 AM, your family will arrive at Smiggins Holes, a fantastic, family-friendly section of the Perisher ski resort perfect for all skill levels. Enjoy hours of uninterrupted time to ski, snowboard, build snowmen, or toboggan.

After a thrilling day on the slopes, we board our comfortable coach at 2:00 PM for a relaxing journey home, complete with a dinner break and a quick final restroom stop at Sutton Forest. Families will return to their original drop-off points safe, sound, and full of winter stories!

Family Snow Tip: Pack a small day-bag with your ski socks, beanies, and gloves separate from your main luggage. Your main luggage stays safe under the bus while you enjoy your first full day on the slopes!

Secure Coach During Ski Time: The coach remains locked and secure while you are on the slopes, reopening right at departure time for the return trip to Sydney.

+Can we hire ski and snowboard equipment on the tour?

Yes, absolutely! On Sunday morning, our coach makes a dedicated 1-hour stop at a large, heated ski-hire outlet in Cooma. Our guides will help fit your family with everything you need—including skis, poles, boots, snowboards, and waterproof snow clothing (jackets and pants)—at excellent group discount rates.

+Is the National Park Entry Fee included?

A: Yes! The Kosciuszko National Park entry fee is 100% included in your tour fare. You will not have to pay any extra vehicle or passenger fees at the park gates.
